Garban, Broadhurst, and Surma "failed to provide adequate information to the Board" (to use Frazier's words)

It was mentioned during yesterday’s Board meeting that some Trustees were, in fact, told about the Sandusky investigation and indictment well before the Board’s emergency meeting of November 11, 2011. As shown by the Freeh Report (underlining is mine), the Trustees in question were Business & Industry Trustees Broadhurst and Surma, and Alumni Trustee Steve Garban.
It seems that Kenneth “people that look like you” Frazier left his cronies off the list when he issued his scathing condemnation in July 2012.
“Frazier said the board failed to provide proper oversight, as trustees remained unaware of the allegations against Sandusky from when they were first reported in 1998 until 2011, though it acted decisively once information became public in November 2011. Administrative leaders -- including at the time President Graham Spanier, Coach Joe Paterno, Athletic Director Tim Curley, and Senior Vice President Gary Schultz -- failed to protect children when they had the opportunity and failed to provide adequate information to the board, he said.”

The purpose of this blog is to promote action to restore the good name and reputation of the Pennsylvania State University, by exposing the leadership failures of its Board of Trustees along with evidence of problems with the Freeh Report and the NCAA. This blog advocates intervention by the Pennsylvania Legislature, Attorney General, and other outside entities to achieve this.
